Post Your Point Related Ideas

this thread is for all the new ideas that will be generated by Kiras Awesome new point system. please don't post anything stupid for this is were we can analyze the many ideas this new system will create, so we don't need stupid stuff popping up here (exmp. "i think we should get 100 points for each post") that is what we are NOT wanting to see, a good example is "I think we should have a system where people can buy larger avatar limit." i thank you for your ideas and support for this new point system.

I think avatar limits could cause some issues, but it's a good example of a real suggestion as opposed to things like getting extra points for stupid things.

My idea was to incorporate a shop that you can spend points in. You should be able to get username changes, or add effects such as bold or italicized fonts. Or even add a whole new cash system.

i was thinking i would be cool to be able to buy a spot uder your your avatar where there is a picture of the kind of psp you have like i have a darth vader white so under my avatar ther wound be a generic pic of the back of a darth vader white insted of it saying it!

Yeah, I used to have one, but I gave it to a friend, and now I wish I didn't, so I may get one on ebay. As for points, I still think we should add a cash system so that you may spend your cash on certain things, or even exchange it amongst users (witha donation system, bank system, etc) for various things. PSPMod doesn't have it, but a lot of other vBulletin boards do, and it would be nice if we could use it. I'll try to find an example board or a more detailed article or something with some ideas for a shop. I have some experience administrating forums, so I can help you find it/install it if you decide to add it, though I see you're fine in the way of installing add-ons/mods.

this seems like a really good idea the cash systm i give it two thumbs up

I found a PHPBB version, but I think I'll hold off on posting it until Kira okays this idea.
