How to install 1.50 Kernel

PHATS ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT try this with a slim

Alright first off you need these two files, one is the .pbp from Sony and the other is the kernel installer.

To open these you need winrar, if you do not know what that is then google it.

Ok after downloading 150.pbp you should place it in the root of your memory stick, it should look like this:



Ok after that unrar the other and place it in the (drive letter)>PSP>GAME5XX folder it should look like this.




And inside the 5XX folder.



Ok after that disconnect from your usb go over to your memory stick and run it.

After that you can delete the two files off your psp.

I think the 1.5 kernal is for phats only, right?

Correct, the slims I believe you use time machine.

And Time Machine takes up a shitload of memory on the MS.

I believe the 1.5 does too, I was missing a gig! before I formatted..

1.5 gets flashed to the PSP, so it shouldn't take up any of the MS's space. It does take up a lot of the PSP's flash memory, it has to remove the korean language and Location Free player, and in 5.00 I believe it had to take something else out as well.
